Is that the end for Bayer Leverkusen? Alonso goes with Wirtz, Tah and others who were supposed to follow

It’s been a long time in football for twelve months, just ask any Bayer Leverkusen fans.

This time last year, the club celebrated its first Bundesliga title after an extraordinary season in which they saw that European record 48 matches were undefeated and still had the Europa League and DFB Pocal finals.

They had probably the most interesting coach in world football with Xabi Alons who wanted Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

And they had a team full of hungry, young talent seemingly ready to dominate both on the domestic and continent.

Fast forward to this day and they are in danger of losing much of what the club so hard to do on creation.

Alonso has already announced that he will leave at the end of the season And it is to take on a free place in Madrid created by the upcoming departure of Carl Ancelotti to become the main coach of Brazil.

Spanish departure will not surprise the leverkusen believers. Murmuri from last summer never left and always sought a bigger stage to show his undoubted ability at some stage.

But what about players? Here we examine the five brightest talents of Leverkusen that could be on the move this summer.

Florian Wirtz

Leverkusen’s Jewell in Kruna, Wirtz is in the center of a tug between Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Bayern thought they had won the race, but City has become strong candidates with players in recent days who have noticed that they have flying to England to talk to the Premier League champions.

Jonathan Tah

Another player believed to go to one club, but is now preparing to join another.
The German central half was intended for Barcelona just to get cold feet due to the financial problems and problems of the Catalan club in the registration of players.

Patrick Schick

With the lack of exit numbers nine on the market, it is not surprising that Schick has been a few large rifles in Europe.
It has been reported that interest in Czech international Schick from Manchester United, who watch the alternative to goalkeeper Rasmus Hojlund.

Alejandro Grimaldo
