Carlo Ancelotti rejected proposals that he lost his love for Real Madrid and his fans, but admitted that the club might need fresh momentum.
The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) announced yesterday that Acelotti would take over as the main national team coach on May 26, shortly after the last game of the Madrid season in the season, and before this year’s World Cup club.
He ends the second Italian magic in Madrid, and he will go to the leading club up to 15 trophies, including two La Ligas and three Champions League titles.
This season, however, it was a great disappointment-an unpleasant defeat of 4-3 Clasico in Barcelona, which means that Madrid has a little chance of keeping its homemade crown, while the quarterfinal defeat against Arsenal has completed the Champions League defense.

Ancelotti convinced that his legacy of Real Madrid would live
Nevertheless, Ancelotti believes that fans will look gently in his time in the Santiago Bernabeu.
He said, “I never felt Madrid love me. Madrid loves me. He always showed me affection.
“I couldn’t be Madrid’s coach all my life. It ends for a number of reasons.
“The club may need fresh momentum. I don’t make a drama than this. Thank you very much this club, I’ll be from Madrid all my life. It’s a period it ends. Spectacular. I never thought I could train Madrid for six years and that’s over.”
Ancelotti’s contract was not supposed to expire until the summer of 2026, but both sides look happy to have brought their departure in 12 months.
“Football, as in life, there are adventures that start and end,” he added. “I always knew it would end one day. A very nice period is over. I had a great time. But as in all things in life, there is such a moment.
“I have a good time and I want to finish it well. 26. I’ll talk about another challenge.
“I have never had a problem with the club and I will never have one. It’s a club I have in my heart, and I’ll also have it in my heart when this adventure is over, with a fantastic memory that will stay with me all my life.”
No word about Brazil until Madrid adventure does not do
Many Brazilian journalists at a news conference this morning were eager to test Ancelotti about his plans with Seleca, but former AC Milan defender refused in advance.
“From the age of 26, I will be Brazil’s coach,” he said. “It’s an important challenge, but I’m still a Madrid coach. I want to finish this period well.
“I know they will be interested in what I will do, but I have to think about the days I went here. Because of the respect I have towards this club and these fans, I focused on this last part of this spectacular adventure.”
No problem with lack of statement in Madrid – Acelotti
Although CBF announced its statement yesterday, Madrid has yet to comment on Ancelotti’s upcoming departure.
Asked if he knew why, the 65-year-old said, “Madrid will publish a statement when they want it. No problem. I don’t know when they will do it. They will do it at a time they consider it appropriate. Nothing to add.”
Madrid is hosting Real Mallorca tomorrow in what will be a good game of Ancelotti in charge of the Bernabeu.
Xabi Alonso will replace him for next season, but Ancelotti said there were no concrete words of wisdom for Bayer Leverkusen boss.
“I have no advice,” he said, “because in the future there are all tools that will be a great coach.”
