Hearts talk to Kilmarnock as a club that offered the appointment of Derek Mcinnes as a new boss.
Former ST Johnstone manager, Bristol City and Aberdeen was the leader of success Neil Critchley who was fired two weeks ago.
Sky Sports News understand Kilmarnock will not stand along the way of Mcinnes – if he wants to move to Tynecastle Park.
However, Killie should compens with his rivals in the Scottish Prime Minister, and Mcinnes is under a contract at Rugby Park by 2027.
The 53-year-old is expected to undergo Kilmarnock training on Tuesday, and then on Wednesday he will be in a column while his side faced Motherwell. After that, Kilmarnock faces the hearts of the last day of the season.
Access to Mcinnes comes after led by Killie to the Premiership on Saturday, after their victory 3-2 over Dundee.
After being appointed in January 2022, he led Kilmarnock back into the top flight, establishing the title of the championship.
He then held a club in the Premiership next season, before finishing the fourth in the last campaign – securing European football for Killie for the first time since 2019.
Speaking Sky Sports On Sunday, Mcinnes said: “I hear that there may be contact between the clubs, but there was nothing official from my point of view.
“I think you are in everything, whether you are a player or manager, after being arranged for compensation and clubs can reach an agreement, and then it is a player and a manager.
“But I have to emphasize, we’re not at that stage.”
Former Kilmarnock and Renjers attacker Kris Boyd on Sky Sports::
“You look at what he did with Aberdeen. They were a club that fought, and the hearts had a disappointing season.
“It’s not disrespectful to Kilmarnock, I hang out with them great, and they were a fantastic club for me. But you arrive on a stage where Derek is ready to return to that stage, a big club.
“For me, hearts are the third biggest club in the country, you want to cause them there and create problems for Rangers and Celtics.
“Given the job that Derek did in Aberdeen, he deserves to be back at that level. People forget, which is easy because of what Derek has achieved in the past, what he did in Kilmarnock was also amazing.
“I think he deserves another crack in a big club to see if he can create problems of our big two.”
