Amazing ring in the queens? Berlang Vs. Sheeraz Card Eyes Odd Louis Armstrong Stadium Location

Card 12. July, led by Edgar Berlang Vs. Hamzah Sheeraz, could be prepared at the Louis Armstrong Stadium at Queens, New York. It would be an unusual place for a boxing event. It’s in the National Tennis Center.

Rafael Day reports that there is a “good chance” that the place will be the Louis Armstrong stadium. Still, it’s still not official.

Louis Armstrong’s landscape is not much better than the one at the Barclays Center or Madison Square Garden. If the idea is to impress the fans, setting up to that location will not do much.

July 12th event

The fans are still upset because Berlang (23-1, 18 ko) was in the main event against Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 ko). They believe that the champion in the lightweight category of WBC Shakur Stevenson’s defense against the popular William Zeped (33-0, 27 ko) should be the main event on this card.

Stevenson (23-0, 11 ko) holds the world title and in three divisions has won world titles. Berlanga never won the world title and is almost closed in his challenge for the title against the Unified Super Middle Cane Canela Alvarez on September 14 last year. Sheeraz comes out with a controversial 12-round draw against the WBC Middle Age Champion Carlos Adames on February 2nd. Many boxing fans felt that Sheeraz had lost that fight, but he was donated to draw.

Central Park Dreams

It was rumored that the event was set up at the Central Park in New York. However, given the regulations and permits needed to set up a large external event in the park, that would be a difficult task. There would also be problems with the environmental impact. This large green park setting is not designed for a huge crowd for a boxing event.
