Emanuel Navarrete controversially defeats Charly Suarez

San Diego, California-Emanuel Navarrete (40-2-1, 32 ko) Return to Pechanga Arena was dramatic and controversial. He struggled with a veteran whose experience, durability and determination proved to be challenging. From the introductory bell, Charly Suarez (18-1, 10 ko) jumped on Navarrete.

The district showed insight into what the fight, the war to return between the two relentless fighters will be. Navarrete began strongly, giving the suarez a bloody nose in the first round. His best circles were early circles, and then he began to show signs of fatigue in medium circles. According to Suarez, in Post-Borba he stated that he felt that Navarrete’s blows had become weaker as the fight progressed.

Navarrete struggled for weight, demanding six attempts to reach a targeted weight of 130. It seems that his weight issues have influenced his conditioning. In the sixth round, the fight changed, and Navarrete suffered a nasty cut over her left eye. The judge ruled his head, but slowing the reproduction shows the left kick that Suarez threw, followed by a light conflict of the heads. The fight continued in the eighth round, when at the beginning of the circle, the Ring doctor stopped the fight for cutting. Considering that he ruled his head, it went to the ladder, for which the judges ruled in favor of Navarrete. Earned him a technical decision victory.

If the cut had judged a shot, the fight would end with a technical knockout victory. Making Suarez the new WBO junior champion in a lightweight category. The California Athletic Commission should inspect the incident. Carl Moretti posted on X that after the rerun examination, a rematch was deserved. Suarez showed an interest in the remodeling of presses. Navarrete, however, did not clearly express the desire for it. His difficulty in creating weight could be the reason why he hesitated to finally give, because he may have potentially outgrowed the division.

As it stands now, in 7 rounds, Navarrete managed to land 32.5 percent of her blows. He opened Suarez, 98 to 86 in the total blow. If the match had not been stopped in the eighth round and continued, both fighters think they could win the match that he left

The distance Suarez stated that he was just warming up, while Navarrete felt that Suarez had a lot of experience, but he could hurt him from the inside. Due to the controversial nature as the match ended and because it was close overall, the rematch would look immediate. AND

The question remains if Navarrete can be struggled again with this weight or re -releases the leap to light?
