Nuno explains the reasons behind Marinakis Rumpus as the nottingham forest passes against Leicester

Nuno Espirito Santo said that the noottingham Evangelos Marinakis forest head had “obvious frustration” after a dilapidated replacement was harmed by their hope in the Champions League in this afternoon draw 2-2 with Leicester City.

Marinakis passed the field at the last whistle and angrily addressed the forest boss Nuno after Forest failed to beat his already released rivals from Eastern Midlands.

The Portuguese explained that Marinakis was irritated because of the failure to take off Taiwo Awoniyi, despite being the striker made a small influence after a collision with a post.

Forbiddening to form a fault – nuno

Nuno told Sky Sports, “That was because of the situation. There was a confusion about the situation (Awoniyi). We made (different) Sub and after that we played with one man less, so he frustrated it. That’s obvious.

“When a player falls, you get the information that he is okay to continue, then let’s make a Sub and turn out to be able to continue. We are all frustrated because of it.

“Football is emotions. It’s hard to control. Especially when we had such expectations, and the fans were amazing.

“Let’s go again, it’s not in our hands, but it’s not done.”

It’s a scandal – Neville

Sky Pundit Gary Neville was not impressed with Marinakis’ actions, saying, “I think what the forest owner has just done on the ground on the city ground is absolutely scandalous.

“If I were, I would have a very strong word with him because it’s a scandal.

“You just qualified for the European competition. Where the club was, to turn (with Nuno) on the field in front of the club’s fans is an absolute joke.”

Nuno was wondering that the forest would bring in a situation where the Champions League qualifying qualifiers remains a possibility, although today’s deadlock makes it difficult for its task.

They were sitting seventh playing two games, although they are just a point behind the fifth placement of Chelsea, hosted by the last day of the season.

Buonanotte Dents Nada Forests

Today’s draw means that it will be guaranteed that it will play European football next season, which is the first time in 29 years, but it was a scarce comfort after the late equation of Facunda Buonanotte.

Conor Coady opened the scoring for foxes before naked Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood turned Forest to the goal before Boonanotte leveled with seven minutes.

Nuno added: “Today is a difficult day for everyone related to the club.

“The first half we received a goal, but we were dominant. The second half we started better and deserved to get an advantage. Then it was a defensive mistake that allowed Leicester to get back to the game.”
