Jon Rahm says the last Ryder Cup was the best golf experience in his life and hopes to be part of the 2025 team in New York.

“It’s not really (worried),” Molinari said of Rahm’s game. “Jon loves Ryder Cup so much that he’ll probably round out this summer – I’m pretty sure about that.

“Every year you feel like you have seven or eight guys that are easy to predict, and then you have a few on other terrains. I think it will be the same this time.

“We hope that we will have all our best guys in the best form of our lives, but in one way or the other we will have a strong team and one who will be able to fight the very strong American side.”

Luke Donald thinks about how he led the Europe team to the success of Ryder Cup in Rome

Bethpage Black is expected to host a tumultuous home crowd in New York when Ryder Cup takes place from 25 to 28 September, but despite European fights on American soil in their latest visits, Molinari believes they will be able to deal with the atmosphere of the enemy.

“I think you just control what you can control,” he said. “You can’t control the crowds, but you can control how you behave and how you respond to crowds. There are many things you can’t do to affect yourself.

“I think we will be ready, we will be ready for it. I know it will be loud and very difficult, but sometimes there is also a difficulty lies the opportunity. I’m sure some players will love him and I hope he will be able to perform in the best order.

“Make birds, put a little blue on the board and the noise level will drop very quickly.

“As I said, it will be ticklish, it takes a lot of patience, a lot of determination, stains and hard work, but we will do our best.”

Molinari re -advised McIlroy in Quail Hollow

“It was great with the victory of Rory (masters),” Molinari said. “Everyone who knows Rory little was extremely relieved of him and is very happy about him.

“You could see how much it meant to him. It was a long time and it was simply so good to see.

“Now he has a lot of weight from the back, one can play a little more free – especially on the majorettes – and I would not be surprised that he is there at Quail Hollow again. He loves him there.

“It’s a course in which he played well, the one who definitely suits him and everyone who is really good from a teenager. I am very curious to see what happens next week. I think it will be a fantastic second major of the year.”
