The Golden State Warriors suffered a huge failure by the beginning of the second quarter of the game 1 in their match in the second round against Minnesota Timberwolves when Steph Curry came out with the left strain stress – an injury that immediately turned it off until the end of the game.
Warriors fans are now facing growing concern about Curry’s availability for the rest of the series, which some analysts believe they could stretch until the game 7.

The analyst of Jeff Stotts (@instreetClots on X) pointed out that this indicates the first notable problem of Steph Curry’s lower leg, which states for recovery time – with 1 grade strains that usually cost about 10 days and heavy ones that can potentially lay players for up to one month.
“The severity of the stress will ultimately dictate how much time Steph curry is potentially missing. Average time lost for the confirmed G1 strain is ~ 10 days. It jumps on ~ 31 days for strains G2. The time lost for the unprepared strains is ~ 12 days,” he said.
Another analyst of injuries, Dr. Evan Jeffries, estimated a seven -10 -day recovery window for knee strain 1 degrees and three to six weeks for grade 2.
This time tape is important especially since the schedule of the series allows very little time to recover, with just one day of rest between most games – Game 2 is Thursday, match 3 on Saturday and match 4 on Monday.
If the series moves away, games 5 to 7 are scheduled for May 14, May 18 and May 20.
Steph Curry seemed to tune his knees after trying to float in the second quarter. There were two more possessions in the game, even rejected the assistance of Draymond Green, who extended the leadership of Golden State to two -core digits with 8:20 left at halftime.
Curry has held good health throughout the season, playing in 70 games of regular seasons, while average on average 24.5 points, 6.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds.
If Curry end up aside for a longer move, the Warriors’ insult will surely hit, but they still have veterans play-offs in Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green to carry a burden.
