Chelsea is expected to book their place in the finals of the conference league when they welcome Djurgarden to Stamford Bridge with the advantage of 4-1 from the semi-final first leg.
The Blues were favorites throughout the competition, and nothing they produced during the campaign did not suggest that they would not raise the Wroclaw trophy later this month.
The men of Enza Maresca were predictably comfortable in winning their feet in Stockholm, Jadon Sanchou and Noni Madueke on target, while Nicolas Jackson twice scored to command Chelsea.
Chelsea lost his home leg of his quarterfinals with Legia Warsaw, but it would seem to be necessary for a football miracle for Djurgarden, playing in his first European semifinals, to produce a decisive turnaround on Thursday.
The Blues appeared after their appearance against Legia, and Maresca wants to avoid repeating despite the control that his side has in the tie.
“After the first leg, I said that the second game against Warsaw was not good enough,” he said at a press conference.
“So the experience, hopefully, help us, players and us, all of us and tomorrow we will do our job, play a good game, try to win again and continue to build the momentum you mentioned. So that is very important.
“Even if the first leg was 0-3, the second game at home was not good enough. These are not the standards that require players. As I said, we hope we can win the game tomorrow and play a good game.”
Chelsea is in a strong position at the key moment of their season. Their detachment is approaching full fitness, and teenage striker Marc Gui is close to returning from the lower leg injury.
“We have no injuries and Marc Gui could be included in tomorrow’s team. I’m not sure yet,” Mareca said.
“It’s probably better for him to have a few more days in terms of training, but it’s very close to get back with us.”

Chelsea, opposite Djurgarden, starts tomorrow at 8 pm in the UK. It can be viewed on TNT Sports and flow through the discovery+application. Sky customers with TNT package can also flow a game via Sky Go.
Because as much as Chelsea will not want to lose at home, they will have one eye in Sunday’s Premier League game in Newcastle United, which will have huge consequences in the Champions League football race.
As such, expect Maresca to transfer their package, and the blues will be pleased with the cruise in the finals, and to make too much in an effort to ensure that they are looking for a home win.
Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Djurgarden
