The DP World Tour will head to Donald Trump’s Golf Town for the first time later this year, and the Scottish Championship has returned to the schedule.
The $ 2.75 million tournament (£ 2.06 million) will be held at Trump International Golf Links Scotland from August 7 to August 10 and will serve as the penultimate event of the final momentum of DP.
The Scottish Championship was last played in October 2020.
DP World Tour Tour Tour Director said: “Trump International Golf Links Scotland has already gained reputation as one of the best modern courses in the UK and promises to be a great place to return the Scottish Championship to our schedule.”
The final momentum ends with Danish Golf Championships in Copenhagen from August 14 to August 17 – the last opportunity for players to qualify for ‘Back 9’, the second phase of the DP World Tour.
That part of the campaign begins with British masters of Betfred in Belfry from August 21 to August 24.
