Arsenal Mikel Arteta has a “huge enthusiasm” to take the opportunity to make history against Paris Saint-Germain, despite going to the semi-final leg of the Champions League, which laged 1-0 to the aggregate.
Gunners were the second best in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium and lagged behind in the fourth minute in the Ousman Dembele Strike.
It could be worse that Arsenal that Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos took the clear chances of PSG late.
But the task that Arth’s people on Parc des Princes face on Wednesday is still malicious on Wednesday.
Indeed, only two teams reached the Champions League final, losing their first semi -final game at home. Ajax was the first against Panathinaikos in 1995-96, and Tottenham became the second in their incredible last four connections with Ajax in 2018-19.
However, Arththa insists that Arsenal enjoys the challenge of trying to imitate his rivals in northern London in an attempt to become the third team that achieved that feat.
“Huge enthusiasm, enormous energy,” Arteta said when asked about believing in the camp.
“We win the Champions League semi-finals, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world against a big opponent-it doesn’t get much better than that.

“We are here to make history, and tomorrow we have a great opportunity. We bring a result that gives us so much clarity about what we have to do. A lot of learning and from the first leg and how small margins are between the two teams.
“The result, in my opinion, should be very different from the one. So tomorrow, another opportunity to prove it and earn the right to be in the finals.”
“To win the Champions League final, you have to do something exceptionally throughout the tournament.
“We have done a lot of great things, but tomorrow in Paris, against this team is the moment to do it. And we will raise the level of this team and begin to create history. This is the opportunity we have before us to do it.”
Arteta revealed that full Bek Jurrien Timber would evaluate his fitness after missing last Saturday’s defeat in the Premier League in Bournemouth.
Timber trained Tuesday, as well as colleague defendant Riccardo Calafiori, who has not played since March due to a knee injury suffered in international duties.
Asked about the availability of Calafioria, Artete said, “He traveled, and he’s ready and ready to play when we need to. So, that’s obviously great news.”
