Cole Palmer replied critics on social media and admitted that “Sh*T happened” after ending his long drought this afternoon in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool.
It was Palmer’s first goal in 19 games and was richly deserved after a great screen that turned out to be too proved to be a Liverpool to handle the outside.
The English international has already played a key role in the first two Chelsea goals before he first got his name on the list of results with a penalty shootout since mid -January.
Virgil Van Dijk scored Liverpool’s goal, but it was Palmer’s day while Chelsea went at a point at a point with Newcastle in the fight for the Champions League location.

Asked how he feels over the place, former Manchester City Playmaker said Sky Sports: “I just felt normal. Obviously happens, I went through three months without scoring, but it just gives me more struggles and motivation to do more for myself and for that.
“Social media today are full of idiots, trolls and anything. I don’t pay attention to it. Today I scored and I’m happy, but I’m just one and I have to continue to improve and try to reach new levels.”
Palmer admitted to struggling to cope with a recent infertile magic.
He added, “Getting a chance and not score, it seems you let your team. I feel like I’m mentally strong anyway. I feel proud to help the team, and if I’m not doing it, I’m not happy.”
Liverpool was a long way from his best, but Captain Van Dijk insisted that there is no lack of motivation despite being won by the title last weekend.
The Dutch defender said: “We were able to score a goal – in the end they deserve victory. It’s a disappointing thing while we came here to win.
“Obviously we tried, but it wasn’t great. The way we trained, the sharpness we had, everyone was ready for that.
“We knew it would be difficult sometimes. We could have done better in the way we defended ourselves as a team, but tomorrow we will analyze it and prepare it for the next game.”
He added: “We are very fortunate that we have not lost many games in the league and it hurts. And that should be harmed.
“Even when the job is done, we came here to try to get a good result. It has to hurt it. I’m definitely disappointed.”
