Skipper Gujarat Titans (GT) Shubman Gill opened up about the fierce interaction he had with the court during the match against Sunrizes Hyderabad (SRH) at the IPL 2025. The opener said such exchanges could happen because of the high emotions when players give their best on the field.
The Gujarat Titans beat Sunrizes Hyderabad for 38 rides in 51. GT moved to second place in the list of points with 14 points from 10 games. Meanwhile, Hyderabad suffered his seventh loss in 10 games.
Shubman Gill captured the center of attention due to two animated exchange from the field and the fourth judges. The first confrontation occurred during the 14th year. Gill had a fierce exchange with Kannur Swaroopananda and Virender Sharma due to a VRS examination that went against Titan.

Abhishek Sharma was hit on his right toe while trying to shoot. The Titans decided to inspect, who lost when the ball monitoring showed a call in court. Gill had another fierce discussion with the fourth judges after he ran out of, and visual representations of the incident did not give a clear look.
Gill scored 76 runs of only 38 balls, including 10 borders and 2 six, before running out. It was his third consecutive half a century and the fifth in the last seven inserts. Gill scored 465 runs from 10 games, with an impressive average of 51.66 and an equally impressive stop of 162.02 strike.
Shubman Gill said emotions can be high during such moments. He stated that when players do their best on the field, it is natural to keep discussions like the one he had with a judge.
“There was a little discussion with me and a judge. Sometimes so many emotions are included as you give your 110 percent, there will certainly be some emotions,” Gill said as he spoke at the presentation after the match.
Shubman Gill has attributed Gujarat’s success to their ability to adapt to challenging games this season this season. Gill said their strategy was not in the avoidance of balls, but focused on giving. The Gujarat ended with only 22 balls in 20 accessories.
“We did not plan (22 balls), the idea was to continue playing the way we have. Black soil (playgrounds), we saw that it was not easy to hit the sixties. But the way our best order plays, we know how to keep the table,” Gill said.
“We never talked for one of the top three to always be there in the end. We’re just eager to do our best,” he added.
The Gujarat Titans published an amazing total of 224/6 in its 20 accessories. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan added 87 running only 41 balls. Jos Buttler broke 64 off 37 delivery. The next Mumbai (Mi) Indians will face the 6th May 6th in a guest firit.
