Charles Leclerc admitted that he felt “bad” after Ferrari’s “boring” disadvantage left him and his teammate Lewis Hamilton from Sprint Pole quarrel at Grand Prix in Miami.
Leclerc qualified sixth on Miami Autodrom, because he finished more than three -tenths of Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli, while the Italian teenager was startled by McLaren’s Oscar Piastra and Lando Norris to ask for his maiden F1 Pol.
Leclerc seems to have made progress in recent weeks because he supported the fourth fourth place with Ferrari’s first podium of the season on the Grand Prix Saudi Arabia two weeks ago, but Monegasque was extremely disappointed after action on Friday.

Asked if he can progress in the sprint. Hamilton replied, “Not really. I think all the cars are faster in front of us. I don’t know what else to say.”
As for improvement after Sprint enters the Grand Prix qualification later on Saturday, Hamilton added:
“There are always ideas. Whether they will be right or not … definitely needs to be learned – to make changes, how the car behaves, it should definitely be done to achieve speed by entering the rest of the weekend.”
