Nottingham Forest Nuno Espirito Santo described the final part of the Premier League season as defining a career for its composition, and the club sought to secure an unprecedented place in the Champions League next season.
Currently sitting sixth, Forest remains firmly in the mix for the first five, with the latter enough to qualify for the competition in next season.
A positive result in their upcoming game against Brentford on the city ground on Thursday could raise them in one of the qualifying places, with only four matches left.
“All games are the biggest games of our career, this is how we approach,” Nuno said.
“All games will be very, very important for many teams in this fight. We have another one, let’s try to do well.
“We returned to the city soil in front of our fans, that is a great help.

“We never stopped believing, no matter what was happening. Throughout the competition, we had good moments and bad moments and managed to react and again it is up to us to react again.”
Forest, a club with a lot of European history that includes two European Cup triumphs, has not appeared in a top competition of the continent from the 1980-81 season.
After Manchester City overthrew the FA Cup on the semi -final stage, their focus is completely on the league run.
Despite the pressure, Nuno insists that his team is concentrating on one game, starting with Brentford.
“We just think about Brentford now, that’s the only thing we have to consider now in our heads, is to compete against them,” he said.
“It’s in our hands, it’s a great advantage.”
