Chelsea and Manchester United well nurtured talented young players over the years and could play a key role in his development. They could use more qualities and depths in the middle of the park, and the 16-year-old could develop for them in an important first team player in the future.
The contest of Barcelona and Manchester City will not be easy on his signature. Barcelona is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and any player will be attracted to the idea of joining them. Furthermore, the Academie Africa Foot partnership will surely put them in a driver’s seat.
It remains to be seen whether a talented young midfielder can land this summer. Barcelona has its financial restrictions and will not be able to spend strongly on established stars. They must be sustainable, and signing talented young players will be their priority.
It will be interesting to see where the 16-year-old eventually finished.
