The ban, in effect immediately, stems from an incident that included disagreement according to the judge’s decision and is initiated by the accumulation of Demerit points from multiple offenses this season.
Why is Hridoy banned for banned for four games?
The latest disciplinary action was taken after the Dhaka Premier Division (DPDCL) Division Division (DPDCL) match between the crislet of Mohammed Sporting Club and Gazi Group Group on Saturday (April 26, 2025), at the Sher-E-Bangla Stadium National Crickket. The incident happened after Hridoy was judged to be caught behind. According to multiple reports, even after the participant gave it, Hridoy remained at the folds for a noticeable period. He appeared visibly dissatisfied with the decision, gesture and seemingly pointing to the area of the tone, the behavior was interpreted as a clear disagreement against the call of the clerk.

Hridoy subsequently rejected the allegation and decided to challenge, seeking a fully disciplinary hearing. However, despite his previous communication regarding hearing schedule, he failed to attend. Consequently, Judge Akhtar Ahmad continued his hearing in the absence of Hridoy and found that there was a justified sanction.
Details of the Financial Punishment imposed for a Hradoy towing
It was revealed that Hridoy had committed the offense of Level 1 according to Article 2.8 BCB Code of Behavior, especially in the relationship “Showing disagreement in the judge’s decision during the match.” Penalties for level 1 offenses are usually ranging from a formal warning to a financial sentence of up to 40,000 and/or adding one or two demers points.

For this concrete incident, Hridoy was punished with 10,000 likes and awarded one demeit point. This only point proved to be critical because it brought its overall deimeter points accumulated from different violations throughout the season to eight. BCB regulations determine that each player who reaches eight demers points automatically brings a four-match suspension. This automatic punishment is the basis for the current ban.
This is not Hridoy’s first encounter with the BCB disciplinary system this season. Just two weeks before, on April 12, 2025, he was initially awarded a ban for one match for quarrels on the field with the court during the second Premier Dhaka League match. After his public criticism of the match officer in connection with the incident, his suspension was controversially expanded to two matches. However, this decision faced significant pressure from players and managing the Mohamedan sports club, which led to a decrease in the ban.
