The NFL Ryan Wilson analyst expects Arch Manning to be selected the first total in the NFL 2026 draft.
Manning could declare for the Draft 2026, but there are rumors that the NFL 2027 draft will wait. However, Wilson believes that Manning has all the tools that are the first overall choice and does not see the need to wait another year.
“Arch Manning is something that his uncles are not and that he is crazy athletic beside that big hand,” Wilson said on CBS 1:43. “A little bigger, a little physical. If it really decides to go out, it will be a talk point for the next 12 months, and he’s a really good football player.”

ESPN analyst Matt Miller believes Manning will want to start in Texas for two years, which means he will not declare the NFL 2027 draft.
“I keep telling people that the guy is 2027,” Miller told ESPN Podcast College Gameday, via on3. “So let’s cool our heads on the bow.”
In the meantime, NFL Insider Adam Schefter also expects Manning to wait until 2027 to declare a draft.
“First of all, there is no guarantee that Arch Manning comes out after next year,” Schefter said on ESPN Stand up. “It sounds like he could certainly stay away from next year. I’m not an insider in football at college, but none of the managers have ever been out early, and I don’t know that Nil Money was what he would do.
Manning appeared in some games last season in Texas. He went 61 for 90 to 939 meters, 9 Touchdown and 2 interceptions.
