Exeter chairman Tony Rowe suspended coaches by Rob Hunter and Ali Hepher after the Gallagher Premierster Gallacester’s Chiefs record record.
Hunter took over Hepher as the main coach in March, and Hepher handed over the role that oversees Exeter’s back and attacking the strategy by the end of this season.
Exeter won only three premiership games in this term, and they spectacularly revealed in Kingsholm, losing 79-17 and receiving 13 attempts.
Television shots showed an animated Rowe who tells his mind as he addressed the players and coaches in the locker room after the match.
Exeter said Rowe made the decision “to a complete review of the match and to this day the 2024/25” season.
Rowe said: “No final decision was made regarding the club’s coaching structure, and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment until all internal procedures are completed.”
The club added that the long -lasting director of Rugby Rob Baxter would step into a “coaching role” to oversee the rest of this term.
The bosses have three miserable campaigns, hosted by Northampton on May 11, visiting Harlequins seven days later and then entertaining the sale of May 31.
Currently, the ninth is in the Premiership, with only Newcastle below them, and 17 points with eight -ranked Quins.
Speaking after the Gloucester defeat, Hunter told reporters that it was “his worst day as a coach.”

Hunter said, “Except how we feel individually, the first thing we recognized was that it was not acceptable to us to perform that way.
“It doesn’t hide and we didn’t try to hide from it in the locker room.
“Quite clearly, we went under the avalanche of pressure and intensity from Gloucester and extinguished below it. This is not the case back to the drawing board, the more the lessons you think are learning, you do not learn.
“We will not escape from it, we will sit on it all week and we will stew on it until we play the next game. No one is looking for a hand around them.”
