Barcelona’s head coach, Hans Flick, broke into Real Madrid’s permanent public campaign, targeting the match officers, calling their actions by disrespecting and harmful in the Copa del Rey match.
The latest media criticism in Real Madrid this week escalated the criticism of Spanish judges, performing an intense pressure on the official team awarded the finals in Seville.
The return was reportedly influenced by Judge Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxe and Var Official Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes so deep that one was reduced to tears before the game.
Two officials held an unusual press conference before the finals, during which Gonzalez Fuertes turned to a personal day of hostility. The contents broadcast by Real Madrid TV, which often indicates a leaning mistake before the club matches, allegedly led to the harassment of children of both officials.
Real Madrid tried to change the referee’s team, but that request was rejected by the Spanish Football Federation.
Flick asked about the situation during his media duties and said, “What can I say now …? For me it’s just a sport, just play, it’s just football.

“It is our responsibility to protect the players, let us protect everything around the game. It’s not nice. Of course, maybe on the field, there is an emotion, but after the match it has to be done.
“Fans, everyone wants to see the players. Of course, we need judges, but we have to take care of it. It’s not fair play, not respected. All clubs, coaches, but also players. That’s what we have to do.”
Although critical of recent achievements, Flick admitted in a separate comment that Real Madrid remains a top team and an institution. His remarks appeared more as an invitation to action for a wider football community than as a direct attack.
Barcelona defender and vice president Ronald Araujo also measured during the availability of a team. When asked about controversy, he added: “They told me that you could ask about the judges.
“The truth is that I have not seen the pictures. Being a judge is a very difficult profession. We have to respect and understand what they are doing, and I cannot give any further comment.”
