Jason Kidd joins Everton to provide “knowledge and winning mentality”

Jason Kidd hopes to bring a NBA NUU to the Premier League after joining the Everton ownership group.

The main coach Dallas Mavericks connected with the Roundhouse Capital Holdings, an entity within the Friedkin group, who bought a 94 percent stake at the Merseyside Club last December.

Kidd is a tenfold NBA All-Star by winning the championship as a player with Mavs in 2011, as well as a double gold medal with the United States.

He returned to Dallas as a coach in 2021 and took them to the NBA final last year, where they lost to Boston Celtics.

Fights this season with Donce’s departure

Still, things were far from smooth this season, and Dallas missed the playoffs and Fan Fury is still visible after a season in the season that sent a man Luka Doncic’s stars in Los Angeles Lakers.

Kidd, 52, will hope to get out of unrest during the off -season and offer its wisdom to Everton, which moves to its new stadium to Bramley Dock to start the next term.

He said, “It is an honor for joining the ownership of Everton at such an important moment: with a new stadium on the horizon and a bright future forward, it is a great moment to board.”

Kidd is a respected leader – watts

Executive President Everton Marc Watts said: “On behalf of the Friedkin Group and the Everton Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome Jason to our ownership group.

“As one of the biggest NBA players, and now a successful coach, his knowledge and winning mentality will be an incredible resource for Everton.

“He is a respected leader and a household name for many sports lovers and will bring a deeper understanding of high performance because we collectively seek to build a brighter future for this club.”
