Hansi Flick reflected on an almost perfect night for Barcelona after being able to rest a few key players while still maintaining their position at the top of La Liga with A 1-0 victory over a real Mallorca.
Flick omitted like Raphinhe, Frenkie de Jong and Jules Kounda and handed over to players Ansu Fati and Hector Font, but his side still dominated Dani Olmo, taking the only goal of the minute in the second half.
Barca’s dominance was reflected in the fact that they had 40 shots in the game, most of them from the La Liga team this season, while Mallorca failed to have a single goal on the target.

Pressure turns to Real Madrid
The victory moved to Barcelona seven points responsible from Real Madrid, who visits Getafe tonight, and means that Flick’s Squad is well rested in front of Saturday’s Copa Del Rey final against men, Carla Ancelotti in Seville.
Flick said, “Everyone did a very good job, it was positive that everyone felt part of the team and that is good for the group. My job is to manage it, always thinking about the next game, which is most important.
“We thought a lot about which players should come and who should rest. We give great importance to how to manage our players. We made many changes, but I think we were right.”
Changes had little impact on Barcelona’s flow, and Mallorca hung long before Olmo grabbed the only goal with a nice end.
“I think we played a very good game, with many chances, many opportunities to shoot, score a goal,” Flick added. “We finally got it and then kept them zero, so I’m happy.
“We started very well. We defended ourselves as a team, but really the way we played was very good and I think we saw fewer mistakes than in past games.
“It was a fantastic performance.”

Perfect Pedri again stands out
Flick booked special praise for Pedro, which was again extraordinary in the middle of the field.
He said, “It’s hard to put a peder limit. The game is on top level. Not only with the ball, but also when there is no. It helps us a lot in that defense element and everyone knows how good he is.”
