Jack Wilshere handed the Norwich job for the rest of the season

Jack Wilshere, a former Arsenal midfielder, handed over the job of Norwich City in the last two games of the championship season.

Wilshere, 33, intensified after the canaries fired her chief coach Johannes Hoff Thorup.

Norwich slid to 14th place in the championship after winning only twice in 14 games, and their 3-1 defeat on Monday in Millwall was their fourth loss in five games.

Danish coach Hoff Thorup was appointed a three -year agreement last May and left Norwich together with his assistant Glen Riddersholm.

Wilshere won two FA Cups with Arsenal and had 34 caps for England, but had a career in injuries and left Gunners in 2018. He became a coach at Carrow Road last year.

His ex -teammate from Arsenal Aaron Ramsey also took his first steps in management after taking his position at Cardiff City.

The two of them will meet on the last day of the season, and Ramsey hoped Cardiffa would manage safety.
