Bukayo Saka has a “good chance” to play against Crystal Palace tomorrow night, although he suffered an ankle injury against Ipswich on Sunday.
Saka was removed in the second half Win 4-0 on Portman Road After being earlier at the end of a nasty challenge in the game from Ipswich Leifa Davis, for which he earned a red card.
The English winged player has just returned from a long -term knee problem, and chief Mikel Arteta is convinced that Saka has not suffered any more damage.
“We have to wait and see how he reacts after the session, but he is not too serious. I think he will have a good chance of playing tomorrow,” said Arteta, who also confirmed that the midfielder Jorginho was out “for a few weeks,” while Riccardo Calafiori will not be suitable for palaces.

Artete also rejected the idea of resting with one eye on the semi-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday, his first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
He added, “We can’t think about these conditions. When the players are appropriate and available and they want to play, they have to play. They are at best when they play and have consistency in their performances, and physically and emotionally they are good. They have a rhythm and that is when they are in order.
“If they are not available, there is no debate. If they are not in good condition to perform, we will not play them. But if they are, we will play them.”
Arsenal does not have a match with his next PSG opponents this weekend.
And Artea admitted that he welcomed the break to prepare for the conflict with the men of Luis Enrique. He said, “We have more days, (but) the amount of options we have is not so much, especially because of the place where the players come and the amounts of minutes I can play. It is good to have a small gap because we are really short in numbers.
“This is what we have, we take the opportunity first of all. Earn the right to win the match against the really good side tomorrow, they have a really good record from home, and after that we have time to prepare the (PSG) game really well.”
Arsenal remains the closest challengers of Liverpool, but the defeat of the Palace will mean that Merseysiders are crowned champions.
“It is our incentive to win in our game and do our best to continue our running in which we are currently, and we cannot control the rest,” Artea said.
