Edgar Berlang is confronted with Hamzah Sheeraz at the Eliminator of the 168-pound title, Shakur Stevenson defends his lightweight WBC title against William Zeped, a candidate for lightweight heavyweight categories David Morrell is fighting against Imam Khataev, and WBC 140 LB Champion Alberta Puella in Novi.
Fights on the card
Mike Coppinger from the ring He broke the news of a filled card on July 12 in New York. He did not say who would be the main event, but it seems that Berlanga Vs. Sheeraz to be on top of the map. It is a terrible fight for hardcore boxing lovers, because these guys are viewed as Hipe jobs, who failed when they opposed the world -class opposition.
This is the Ring magazine card. The shock for this card is #6 Edgar Berlang (23-1, 18 Kos) fighting against Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 ko) at the WBC Super Middleweight title eliminator to determine the mandatory Canela Alvarez champion.
Sheerazza never fought at 168, and he looked hellishly bad in his controversial draw of 12 rounds against WBC of 160 LB Champion Carlos Adames on February 2nd. Berlanga beat Canelo last September by a one -sided decision in 12 rounds, and he would get a quick rematch with a Mexican star by defeating Sheerz. The WBC title eliminator should include competitors ranked in the top five, which would turn off Berlang.
Because the event was staged in New York, it makes sense to have a native of Brooklyn Berlang on Headlininer. Talent and achievements, Berlang should be close to the bottom because he has done nothing in his career. Edgar will bring their fans.
Morrell (11-1, 9 Kos) fights the Russian Olympic Khataeva 2020 (10-0, 9 ko). This should be interesting to see where the former world champion is in two Morrell divisions after his loss from David Benavidez on February 1.
