Inter Milan suffers a huge shot in Serie A title because Leverkusen fails to keep the pressure on Bayern


On Sunday night there were great moments throughout Europe after a huge Liverpool victory over Leicester in the Premier League.

The reds moved within three points of the title of title in England, but things were not so direct on the whole continent.

Inter Milan traveled to Bologna knowing that they should win to keep their place at the top of Serie A.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen faced St Pauli in an effort to retain pressure on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

AC Milan was also in action against the Atalanta rivals.

Bologna 1-0 Inter Milan

Riccard Orsolini’s sensational bicycle shot secured a dramatic 1-0 victory for Bologna over the League of Inter League, overcoming the Serie A title and running the hosts back to the Top four.

In a tight and tense competition in Renato Dall’ari, the chances were little and far between. Inter began bright, and Lautaro Martinez forced early rescue from Ravaglia and Augusto, who left wide from the resulting corner. However, this turned out to be Inter to just be a target of the whole game.

Bologna gradually took control, and Aebischer and Ndoye approached in the first half.

The hosts were rewarded deep at the time of stops when Miranda’s long throw was transferred to Orsolini’s path. Replacing acrobatically converted, caused wild celebrations – and she earned a yellow card to remove the shirt.

St Pauli held the Bundesliga title Bayer Leverkusen title to a strenuous 1-1 draw in Hamburg, thanks to Carl Boukhalfa’s second half equalizer.

Leverkusen took control early, with Patrik Schick in the 32nd minute headed home for immediate measures. Visitors seem to have been cruising, dominating possession and creating chances through Wirtz and Grimald.

The hosts thought that in the 74th minute he would eat at the level via Morgan Guilavogui, but his goal excluded for handball.

Just minutes later, persistence paid off. In the 78th minute, Boukhalfa collected from close range after the place set, causing a wild celebration at the Millerntor Stadun.

In a tight and often cage meeting, Ederson’s diving header proved a decisive moment after an hour, as La Dea recorded his fourth victory in five meetings with Rossoneri.

The first half was a little quality, and both sides fought to create clear chances. Milan’s Luka Jovic approached before the break, but Atalanta broke through after halftime.

The smart header of Raoul Bellans, over the goal, found Eerson, who was not mistaken from immediate measures.

Ademola Lookman and Mateo Retegui almost added Atalant’s leadership, and Mike Maignan saved late to refuse the lookman.

Milan hopes in the Champions League football are now appearing because they remain ninth on the table.
