#1, a candidate for lightly based on the WBC, Dalton Smith (18-0, 13 ko), took advantage of his massive advantage of size to be at the main event on Saturday night, at Sheffield, in Sheffield, Sheffield, in Sheffield.

Smith lowered Germain in the fight, 35, in the fight, in round 2, 11 and 12. He was punished for low kick in the 11th round after becoming excessive, trying to hardly throw out his smaller, weaker and older opponent. Germain was sometimes followed by shots, but he lacked strength and size to hurt a much larger Smith.
The results were 117-107, 119-105 and 119-105.
Germain spent most of the struggle moving around the ring, trying to avoid heavy footage from Dalton, who looked two divisions larger than him in the ring. Dalton resembled a middleweight junior fight at Light Welterweight. With such a lack of size, Germain had no chance against him; Therefore, he remained on the move, holding and frustrating Smith.
Towards the end of the fight, Smithi was visibly nervous at Mathie because he did not stand that he could lower his great shots to throw him out. He tried to get the crowd to press the opponent to be motionless, which was stupid.
Hearn’s strategy
The person to whom Smith should be angry is his promoter, Eddie HearnTo select Germaine from the bottom of a rock of 140 lb ladder at site #14. It is unclear why Hearn aligned Dalton against Germain, not one of the top five candidates who could give him a true test.
This is a magical question because Smith did not gain a real experience from this fight, and he definitely did not prepare it to challenge WBC Light Welterweight Champion Alberta Puella, which is much better than this type. He could match Smith against Gary Antuanne Russell or Sutriel Matias instead of Germaine to prepare him for his title. This would obviously be risky because these guys have a power that would have problems to Smith.
Smith is too big to fight for the IBF 140 LB title against Richardson Hitchins because there is a £ 10 rehydration rule that he should adhere to. There is no chance that Smith can make a secondary weight check without expelling to the point where a light sign for Hitchins.
