Bayer Leverkusen Xabi Alonso manager has decided to speculate speculating on a potential move to Real Madrid, insisting that the focus must remain on the last part of the season.
The 43-year-old spokeman is allegedly considered to be a replacement among the names if Carlo Ancelotti left Bernabeu this summer.
Alons’s impressive mandate in Leverkusen – which includes directing to the undefeated Bundesliga title and the German Cup victory in its first full season – made it hot managerial perspectives across Europe.
Despite the increasing rumors, Alonso remained firmly on the question of his future during his latest press conference.
“It’s not a good time to discuss the future. We are at a very important moment in the season.
“I don’t want to talk about speculation and rumors. (I understand) that this is happening, but what is even more important to me is what’s going on at the moment.”

Currently, Leverkusen Trail Bayern Munich with six points with only five games left in the Bundesliga campaign, leaving no space to interfere with distractions as they advocate another powerful title and titles.
Club Executive Director Fernando Carro also dealt with rumors about the move in Madrid, adding that Alonso feels “comfortable” at the club and is already involved in planning next season.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp – another manager associated with Real Madrid – seems to be back aside soon. His agent, Marc Kosicke, said in Sky Germany on Friday: “Jurgen is very pleased with his new role as chief of global football in Red Bull.”
As for Alons, this is not the first time he has been associated with top clubs. Last year he was associated with managerial vacancies in Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
I am a decorated player, Alonso enjoyed a star -year -old ride with Real Madrid between 2009 and 2014, winning both La League and Champions League.
He ended up playing in Bayern Munich in 2017 before he converted to training.
