Coach Robert Garcia says that Crawford’s SUMNCE will dominate in the first half of the fight against the Unified Super Middle Cane Champion Canela Alvarez, in September in their conflict, winning “five or six” rounds.
Robert states that Canelo (62-2-2-2, 39 ko) will have to force themselves to come in the second half of the competition to play compensation and break Crawford (41-0, 31 ko) down. If Garcia is correct with its prediction, Alvarez will be impossible to win. You don’t run an old wolf like Crawford’s early lead and count on you to get back to the fight late.
With five or six late cars, a native of Omaha, Nebraska will move, move and tie Canelo to the rest of the fight to win the decision. In other words, Crawford will sit on his leadership and frustrate Mexican star Alvarez the way Floyd Mayweather Jr. did in his victory over him in 2013.
Canelo has to force the action early, break the holes through the crawford and win rounds based on the landing of hard shots. It only requires three or four hard blows from Alvarez to win rounds as it affects so stronger than its opponents.
We have already seen that Crawford did not have power in its recent move in 154 last August. It will be much more noticeable with him and moved to 168 after another year from the ring, stepping against #1 super medium weight in the division. I don’t see that it ends well for Crawford if Alvarez goes early in the murder.
“Use your skills, speed, try to fight the outside and he has skills. A fighter is very talented,” said coach Robert Garcia in who Artistic sports When asked what Terence Crawford must do to beat Canela Alvarez in their still announced fight in September.
“I think (Bud Crawford) will throw out a few good circles. Maybe at least five or six rounds. In the end, in later rounds, Canelo will start capturing and breaking it. But I see Crawford setting (a good fight).
“Crawford, he’s a man. One of the best fighters in the world is a pound of pounds. He is very talented and I think he will fight well. He (Canelo) the sea (come on late), because in the first half I think it will be the fight Crawford,” Robert said.
100% I disagree with Robert. Canelo will be a more effective fighter in the early circles and will put pressure on the timid, ugly and old appearance of Crawford through the first half. Robert forgets that the strong Alvarez looked in the first five rounds in the last two fights against the cruise of Edgar Berlang the size of a cruiser and Jaime Munguia 2024. These two fighters are much younger, bigger and more powerful than soon 38-year-old Crawford.
Canelo fell in championship rounds of eight to twelve. He faded there and allowed him to steal his oppression that he would not otherwise have.
“I could also go wrong because Canelo is very talented. Let’s not take it away,” Robert said. “I see that Crawford takes the first few rounds and the first half of the fight, and then Canelo forces pressure and tries to dominate that way.”
Power factor
If Canelo can continue to force the action against Buddha in the second half, the fight will be complete mismatch like a one -sided Alvarez victory over the former undeniable champion of 154 pounds of Jermella Charla 30 September 30, 2023. Alvarez will not give the first six circles against Crawford. Then the Mexican superstar will be on his strongest, most dangerous points of the fight.
Even Gennadiy Golovkin did not enter the teeth of Canel’s insult early in his three fights. He mostly stayed on the outside, hitting and throwing individual shots. It is not surprising that the judges did not give him the credit for that approach because he did not follow the same kind of pure shots that Alvarez had been and did not risk. Crawford cannot beat Canela by hitting and staying on the outside.
“Knowing that he could lag a little, he might be forced to do so. He has the strength, he has power, he has skills to do so. He did it many times before,” Robert said.
