Paulie Malignaggi was impressed that the skilled IBF champion in the velter category Jarot ‘Boots’ Ennis (34-0, 30 ko) watched the victory on Saturday night, knocking out the WBA Eimantas Stanionis (15-1, 9) in the sixth round in Atlantic, a new sweater.
Malignaggi points out that Ennis, 27, received a knockout “without a fight”. He managed to stop boxing and cracking of Stanionis without hitting much in the fight. He didn’t expect boots to win that way.
Ennis slowly beat up slower, smaller habit through the first five rounds, then demolished it late in the sixth. After the end of the circle, Stanionis’s corner decided that he had given enough penalties and did not send it to the seventh.
Size is also important
Ennis looked at least 15 pounds tonight than the habitation within the ring. You could say that he rehydidated the whole crowd, and that extra size that the boots had on his frame would be enough to win with the only team. But he also had the advantage of technical skills with his modern struggle in relation to primitive rocky balboa-esque Approach to habitation to be used.
“You forget that Jaron can box so well. I think he reminded us tonight that he could box so well,” said Paulie Malignaggi Fixresponding to Jaron’s’ boots’ Ennis’ victory over Eimantas Stanionis. “He had a stop without a fight. He stopped by being a real good boxer and surpassing Stanionis. I didn’t expect it to come that way.”
Stanionis made it easier to use an old rocky style fight against a modern boxer tonight, and it will never succeed. Ennis knew he could encourage Stanionis, which is why he decided to stay in 147 to complete his goal of becoming an undisputed champion. He knew that Stanionis was made to order him.
“He’s a great fighter,” Malignaggi said of Ennis boots. “I think this appearance was over the habitat tonight, who was a heavy guy. No one expected it to be so easy. I don’t think Stanionis expected Ennis that would fight that way. Ennis started boxing, changing the range on it, catching it with technical recordings of power.”
It sounds like Malignaggi has never watched some of Stanionis’ fights. If he saw his blow against Radzhab Butaeva in 2022, he knew that tonight’s fight with boots would be easy for a native of Philadelphia. Butev repeatedly injured Stanionis in the fight, much more than Ennis did tonight, and he barely lost 114-113 on the rankings of a judge. It was easily the most taught result of the three to fight Stanionis-Butaev.
“It was like:” Let’s throw in the central ring, the Philadelphia style against the Eastern European style. “He said, ‘You know what?” He beat him up doing it that way. I think that raises curiosity again.
“Some have criticized him. When you are an elite athlete, you have criticized yourself on all sides. When you are at the top of the top, all kinds of opinions. The more people’s opinions have people about you, the better, the good or the bad. The more people who have thought on you, that means that they knew the opinion well, said the abuser.
