Kevin de Bruyne inspired his return to Manchester City as they recovered from 2-0 down to beat Crystal Palace 5-2 and reinforce their Champions League aspirations.
City looked in huge problems after 21 minutes, goals by Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards give Palace a two -goal leadership that would have had a former not wandering offsid.
But Vintage 33. A minute of free kick from De Bruyne, who announced last week that he would leave City at the end of the season, halved a deficit and then laid an assist for Omar Marmoush to equalize.
The Palace never looked like he was recovering after that, and De Bruyne perfected Kovacic to put City in front of James McATEe and Nico O’Reilly scored a finally emphasized victory while Pep Guardiola skipped Newcastle United and Chelsea and moved to the top four.
The palace was silent on the Etihad stadium in the ninth minute when they broke through the city defense, Daniel Muñoz, playing the top ball down for Ismail Sarr, whose distant cross was eze.
Marmoush almost gave the current answer, but Dean Henderson detected Egypt International after Rico Lewis and de Bruyne orchestrated a fast city.
The professional presented by Marmoush was punished as the Palace was put in the command position, Richards stood up that he nodded home to Adam Wharton after Eerson failed to deal with a dangerous ball.
De Bruyne then broke the post with a long effort before Eze found the lower right corner at the end of the second attack on a free flow palace, only to exclude his strike properly due to the offset.
This would prove a turning point in the match while De Bruyne scored City into playing with a typical moment of glow, bending a free kick in the post with Henderson completely helpless.

The Belgian ended almost incredibly a turn just before the break. However, after skillfully created the space in the box, De Bruyne could only shoot over the bar.
But De Bruyne played a role in the city, making 3-2 just two minutes after the restart, releasing O’reilly’s leftist cross for Kovacic to find the corner of the lower left.
McATEE then gave a city breathing room, Epson requested its part in Palace’s second with an extraordinary long ball to find England under the age of 21, which hit the ball outside Henderson and then inserted into an empty net.
Marmoush almost put a game outside the Palace when he ran into a perfectly placed right -wing cross de Bruyne, but this time Henderson was equal to his effort.
The city joy was a bit muffled when Epson ran to replace him by Stefan Ortega, but the cultivated side finish of Nico O’reilly added Gloss to rating his first Premier League goal.
