While the right-wing bat made his debut at IPL in 2008 and was one of the highly rated young people in the world’s crisis, he could not receive any reward in the first three seasons.
He finally managed to win his first player award for the 2011 match after the Royal Challengers Bengalur win over Delhi Capitals. In that game he scored 56 runs of 38 balls, helping RCB chase 162 runs with the remaining three balls.
While receiving the award, Virat Kohli explained the plan as he hit, saying, “To be honest, I didn’t plan to hit that way. But when I started hitting the ball well, I took over from Chris. It was a plan in the middle, so I could play, and I could go to my shots because I hit him well.
11 years after receiving his first player award for the match, Virat Kohli once again repeated a special moment. However, the former RCB captain remained uncomfortable with his comments at the presentation ceremony after the match.
“I don’t even know what I said. You brought it from somewhere,” he responded when he first saw a clip.
Kohli and Sagr then listened to the video before the former broke into laughter for his comments for Chris Gayle. Kohli then ridiculed, saying, “Chris could play? Waah! Ghalat Fehmi Dekh Lo (see a misunderstanding)! Since the fans began to analyze the readers of the player on social networks, which became too distorted.”
Kohli responded to his first IPL Motm interview where he spoke about being the aggressor while playing with Chris Gayle.
He laughed well, ridiculed by watching that interview 14 years old.
