Porro smartly diverted home the left cross of James Maddison to draw a home level, but they could not find the winner because Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur hit Drvenica, while goalkeeper Eintracht Kauo Santos pulled a lowlands of fine rescue.

Postecoglou said to TNT Sports: “Any other night we leave with a pleasant victory. We have to go there and we knew that he would decide in another tie. If we repeat that performance, we give ourselves a chance.
“For us, the biggest blow we had so early. This kind of playing in their hands, I always felt we would finish a strong game.”
Postecoglou expects a similar game in Germany next Thursday.
“I don’t expect the second game to open, it will be the affair and that will go down for moments,” he added.
“The other leg will be firm, it may even go into extra time before, we will need all guys ready to go. The good thing is that we have most of them back and healthy, which is important.”
