Lamont Roach responded to criticism today on fans, saying that from March 1, he treated his draw against Gervont Davis as a kind of victory, going on a tour with a victory, giving interviews and acting as a celebrity.
While the WBA Tank Davis champion in the lightweight category is working hard by training for a rematch, fans see Roach enjoys postgrowing of his draw. It looks pathetic, similar to Edgar Berlang last September celebrated the loss of Canela Alvarez.
Roach says that it gives the media “good content” with their interviews with them after drawing it with thin, and people need to “close f ***” about it. It’s hard to do when you see a fighter who acts like him. He should be in the gym, working to try to raise his game because he gave most of the first half of the fight most of the first half of the fight, leaving a thin one to control the action with his game of power.
The rematch between Davis and Roach has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be soon. Lamont (25-1-2, 10 ko) will get the opportunity to show that his draw was not fluke, but it is doubtful that he will. The tank enters this fight better prepared, with a different way of thinking.
“Why the hell were you on my line, talking about:” Oh, he’s on a tour of journalists. “First of all, close.
“I give you good content and look well. This interview (with all smoke) was a good damn interview. It was a good conversation. In any case, we hope the rematch will be published soon,” Roach said.
You think I care about what you think I do or do not do lol obviously what I do is doing for me. I can’t wait to see the look on yall faces again this summer 🤫
