Benavidez gets WBC a light heavy title while the buffalo pronounces to make Chase Beterbiev trilogy

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed today that the 175-pound temporary champion David Benavidez is a new light strap for a heavyweight after Dmitry Bivol has given up a title with the WBC organization.

The WBC-ordered Pouch Offer was scheduled for Bivol’s compulsory fight with Benavides tomorrow, but Dmitry decided to give up his belt so he could participate in a trilog match with Artura Beterbiev.

The new king

Benavidez would prefer the conquest of the 175 LB WBC traditional way, provoking a buffalo for it, but what he can do if he did not want to fight him. He didn’t just want to be idle, letting the buffalo put him on the ice as he fights Beterbiev again. There would be no guarantee to fight the Bivol-Beterbiev 3 fight against him. They could have decided on a fourth fight or ran in, putting Benavidez where she is now.

Supposedly, a buffalo (24-1, 12 ko) would rather retain his WBC belt, but WBC forced his hand to order him to face the ‘Mexican monster’ Benavidez next time. The buffalo would not be difficult to withstand on their trilog match with Arthur, 40, but the Saudis wanted it the following.

Why the buffalo left

Also, Dmitry defending his WBC belt against Benavidez would not be a sure victory. If it were a piece of cake, the buffalo would probably get the green light to face Benavides, and then fight the trilogy with Beterbiev (21-1, 20 ko) after.

There was too much chance that the buffalo would lose and Benavidez had a rather bad to win, which would dry out what is a little interest that the boxing public still has in sight of the trilogy.

Given the 55k PPV rumors to DAZN from American fans in the second fight of Beterbiev Vs. Bivol 2 22. February, Dmitry would be stupid to defend his WBC title against David Benavidez. He would lose the fight and then a trilogy with Beterbiev would not be worth dirt.

They could put it on PPV, and would be lucky to bring 20k to buy states. Fans are tired of that boring struggle anyway, but they would be very painful that Benavidez sent a buffalo to the next galaxy.

Following

We will see who he is now facing when Benavidez is a new WBC heavyweight champion. These are some of the options:

– Callum Smith
– David Morrell: *Rovent
– Anthony Yarde
– Giy Hutchinson
– Lyndon Arthur
– Edgar Berlanga: *If he decides to move upwards
