The light deonte ‘Lay Em Down’ Brown easily defeated Dennis ‘Martilo’ Contreras by a unanimous decision at eight rounds on Friday night at the Boxing Arena Red Owl in Houston, Texas.
Returning after almost three years, Southpaw Brown, 16-0 (11) beat Contreras, 24-18-1 (22) by a decision in eight rounds.
In the first two rounds, Brown used a good sting as a contraras, with high hands, in return. In the third round, Contreras constantly enters forward, entering the blows from many faster hands of browns. In the fourth round, the right hook from Brown overthrew Contraras on the canvas in the last seconds, but Judge Joe Rodriguez called him skating.
In the seventh round, Contreras, in the corner, waves brown, and when it enters, it lands a combination on the beard of Contreras, which cannot handle the speed of brown hands. In the last seconds, Contreras finally follows a couple of rights.
In the eighth and last circles it was brown up to the last half minute, when Contreras landed with a left hook, ejecting a brown color.
The results were 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.
In the main event, light Javier Martinez, Jr. 7-2 (4), lost a controversial divided decision in six circuits of Wayne ‘Pretty Boy Bam Bam’ Lawrence, 8-1 (4).
In the first round, Martinez, returning after almost three years, in a close circle with Lawrence. Both with identical records came to the fight. In the second round, it was all Martinez, although Judge James Green twice warned them to hold them.
In the third round, Martinez never stopped throwing the blows, mostly the right sides, because Lawrence tied him throughout the circle.
In the fourth round Martinez was warned that he had hit twice behind his head while he was in the clinch. Another round for Martinez. Lawrence had a little more than a sting. In the fifth round, Lawrence continued to kill and catch Martinez without warning, but Martinez surpassed him. In the sixth and last round, Judge Green finally warns Lawrence to a continuous share. Martinez won another circle with a non-stop shot.
The results were 59-55 for Lawrence, 58-56 for Martinez, and 58-56 for Lawrence. 60-54 kH for Martinez.
The lightweight Gabriela ‘Sosa’ Tellez, 4-0 (1), stopped Lindsey ‘Hands of Steel’ Ellis, 2-2 (2), at 0:31 second round 4 × 2 bullets.
Tellez was the whole Ellis in the first round, driving around the ring. In the last minute, the right pulled blood out of Ellis’s nose. Tellez was without a rope in the second round of Ellis when Judge James Green wisely called stopping.
Welterweight Southpaw Alex Donis (1-0) came down from the canvas to beat Andrew ‘Durango Kid’ Flamm (1-1) by unanimous decision in four barks.
In the first round, the conflict of the head caused a cut on Flamm’s left eyebrow. In the second round, the leadership to the right of Flamma on his beard dropped Donis for the 8th number of Judge Joseph Rodriguez. Donis had a bloody nose.
In the third round, Donis returned well enough to take over the circle. In the fourth and last round, the flamm is cut to the right eyebrow from the right of Donis, which surpassed the flamm.
The results were 38-37, 38-37 and 38-37.
