Chelsea leader Enzo Maresca confirmed that midfielder Romeo Lavia suffered fresh injury Return that will send it back to the side.
Lavia returned from a knee injury to play the last eight minutes of Chelsea 1-0 defeat from Arsenal before the international break, in what was only the third appearance of 2025 and 13 in all competitions this season.
Unfortunately, Lavia returned to the treatment table after picking up a problem in training ahead of the Premier League Conflict on Thursday Tottenham Hotspur.
“It was better in terms of progress, but unfortunately one day ago he had a small problem again,” Maresca revealed. “So we’ll see in the next hours.”
