Liverpool players react after Darwin Nunez Miss vs PSG (Photo Julian Finney/Getty Images) is punished
Liverpool advocate significant departure at the end of the season, and several key players are facing an uncertain future.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is allegedly close to joining Real Madrid, with personal conditions to agree. Meanwhile, Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah contracts are expiring next summer, which means that they both could leave free transfers if new contracts are not reached.
Luis Díaz is pushing for a move to Barcelona, while Liverpool is open to sell Darwin Núñez and Diogo Jota.
The last time Liverpool had a successful portable window was in 2023, when they renewed their midfielder by signing Alexis Mac Allister, Dominic Szoboszlai, and, late move, Watar Endo after missing top defensive goals in the middle.
Despite the limited starts, Endo quickly became the favorite of the fans, proving as a reliable player.
However, his time at Anfield could be short -lived, and the reports connected him to return to the Bundesliga.
According to Sky Sports’ Floriana Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt inquired about the 32-year-old midfielder, although the move remained uncertain due to financial restrictions.
Plettenberg posted on X::
‘Eintracht Frankfurt inquired about Watar Endou.
‘The midfielder 32y/about summer is a possible candidate for #sge, but other names are also considered. Endo is allowed to leave Liverpool, as reported.
‘Currently, the topic is not a priority for Eintracht, partly because the whole package is still too expensive.
“Frankfurt are informed about the situation, according to @bild_eintracht and confirmed.”

Since Liverpool wants to compete on all fronts next season, Endo’s retention could be a wise move.
His versatility, reliability and willingness to play wherever it takes him are the dream of a manager.
If the reds want depth to maintain their title challenges, holding the Endo team could show the key.
