He said, “They told me, doctors, (will be out) between five and seven weeks. We hope that the end of the season and the World Cup of the club will be ready. “
It is the latest blow to Manchester City injury, whose hopes in the fifth consecutive Premier League title is disparaged by a series of failures.
“Sometimes there are years when such things happen,” Guardiola added. “It happened all season. I would say it could have been different that it was the end of the season (before the World Cup World Cup). So, with all the injuries we had this season, so sorry for them and for Erling. So (I wish him) a good recovery, the faster, come back.”
City headed to this match in the fifth place in the Premier League, but with many clubs that hope to be persecuted for the remaining weeks in the fight to end in the Champions League.
Guardiola now has a big problem that needs to be resolved, since the city does not have a natural replacement for Haalanda.
“We have no other player with Erling Haaland ‘From the skill or its specific traits – we know that, “he said.” But we have to adapt, and from many years we have played different ways in advance, and it depends on the quality of the player.
“We’ll find a solution from the players we have. They all have different skills and qualities. We’ll have another one (striker).”
The City Face Leicester in Etihad tomorrow night, and Guardiola insists that it will be a difficult task, despite the fact that visitors have lost their last six league matches without scoring a goal.
Catalan said, “I know how heavy the Leicester are. I impressed with the way they played the last two games. They played really good against Chelsea and against Aston Vile, who played really well, in different ways.
“They really did well. So, we desperately need (fans) to achieve our success and be in the Champions League again.”
