Napoli secured a key 2-1 victory over AC Milan in Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to transfer three points from the top Serie A.
Goals from the first half Matteo Politano and Romelu Lukaku proved sufficient for the side of Antoni Conte, despite the late strike by Luka Jovic, who gave Rossoneri Nadi Nada.
Conte couldn’t look for a better start, and his team found the net for only two minutes in the game. Giovanni di Lorenzo flew forward from his right position and brought a pass to a police officer, who whispered his running perfectly before Mike Maignan finished.
Milan, fighting to answer, found himself further after the 19th minute. Billy Gilmour showed his vision with a top -notch passage from Lukak’s defense, which showed great calmness to raise the ball over Maignan and Double Napoli’s advantage.
Visitors changed at halftime, and Rafael Leao came in an attempt to encourage their attack. The move paid the dividend when Milan began to make a chance.
Their best opportunity arrived in the 69th minute when Leao combined with Theo Hernandez, drawing an offense in the criminal area of Filip Billing. Santiago Gimenez intensified to take Kukca, but Alex Meret created an amazing savings to make Napoli leadership with two goals.

Milan refused to withdraw and finally found a breakthrough in the 84th minute. Hernandez, an influential left flank, brought a low cross to a box of six yards, where Jovic reacted quickly to direct the ball into the net.
As the match entered at the time of the stop, Milan continued to threaten. Leao was strongly turned on, pulled a foul from Di Lorenz in a dangerous position, but the resulting free kick was a good brother.
Chukwueze was blocked by a late shot and despite the fact that in expected goals he made up for his opponents (2,69 to 0.96), Milan could not find a crucial second goal.
The victory ensures that Napoli stays second in Serie A, Milan, meanwhile, he remains in ninth place and will quickly have to move the focus to his Copp Italia semi -final conflict on Wednesday before the League meeting with Fiorentina on Saturday.
