The main coach of Leeds Rhinos Brad Arthur and the main coach of Warrington Wolves Sam Burgess questioned the standard of referees after their conflict in 5,000 games of the Super League.

Because of this, Arthur concluded that he had to “interfere” more about the judges and that in such great moments they should be much clearer in the knowledge of a letter of law.
“I have seen a lot of those already five rounds (fighting unpunished like a palatal), so I may have to complain more as a coach and write on the judge,” Arthur said Sky Sports.
“We really worked hard on our discipline and we cannot be the least punished in the competition during the first four or five games, and then tonight we get here and in the second half we get seven penalties.”

“We have already packed five in Scrum. Our players said we only had five in Scrum, so it can’t be packaged,” he added.
“We still had 10 seconds. The likelihood of winning it from there, but it doesn’t matter, it’s another 10 seconds left.
“You can’t just do the time. They have to know the rules. There are only 12 players, five in Scrum. We had five in Scrum.”

Burgess agreed with Arthur at the Scrum incident, but he had his own questions, speaking for Grant at halftime about two passages he believed they had been forwarded, which led to an attempt.
