Russian born world no. 12 Daria Kasatkina transferred belonging to Australia after her application for permanent residence was accepted.

The 27-year-old was critical of Russian limitations and attitudes according to LGBT rights and strongly opposed the war in Ukraine.

In a statement posted on her Instagram account on Friday, Kasatkina, the winner of the eight singles titles, she wrote: “I am delighted to have let everyone know that the Australian government has accepted my application for a permanent residence.
