Hurzeler is not interested in audit of the competition 7-0

Brighton’s chief Fabian Hurzeler refused to discuss the hammers of his side 7-0 by Nottingham Forest last month before their FA Cup.

Seagulas are handed over a shameful defeat on the city ground But they bounced great, winning four and drawing one of their next five league matches.

They have also progressed until the last eight FA Cups thanks to victories over Chelsea and Newcastle.

Asked this morning about the previous meeting with Forest, which represented Brighton’s worst defeat at 67 years, the German quickly turned off the question.

He said, “I will not discuss this. The players have taken a lot of ownership and a lot of responsibility, and they said we must return to the things that made us strong and things that make us strongly work together, showing the intensity and that belief that we can beat every team in the league.”

We will not make the game ‘artificially big’

Brighton reached the semifinals two years ago before losing to the eventual winners of Manchester United after being drawn from a goal by a goal by a goal.

And while Hurzeler knows the importance of a potential return to Wembley, he refuses the game to be released to relentless levels.

He added, “Of course we feel it, but it is important for me to do not do it artificially big. Of course, this is an important game, but it is like all other games, because in all games we can improve ourselves, in all games we have to go to the restriction.

“I don’t try to make artificially big, we all know it’s a great opportunity, a great opportunity, but it’s like all other games.”

Down with seagulls

Teams enter the contrasting news of the team.

Forest is without top scorer Chris Wood, who scored a hat-trick in a 7-0 victory after sustaining a hip injury in international duty in New Zealand.

Brighton were Lewis Dunk and Matt O’Riley available, while Hurzeler was convinced that Joao Pedro and Kaora Mitoma were returning intact from the remains with their national teams.
