Nottingham Forest will be without Chris Wood for their quarter -final conflict of FA Cup against Brighton.
The striker, who is Forest’s top scorer this season with 18 goals, picked up his injury while he was in international duty with New Zealand and will not contain Amex Stadium on Saturday.
On the eve of the game, the manager Nuno Espirito Santo said: “He went to scan today. We are still waiting. He was in a scanning expert. We will wait for the information and see.
“He won’t be available for this game. He felt a blow on his side, so he has pain there. We have to wait.”
The forestry boss said he would later evaluate the meeting with the number that returns from international duties.
“Every time an international break comes, we have to evaluate,” he added. “Many of them have arrived today. We are still waiting for Ramon Sosa tomorrow and we will evaluate them all.”

Morgan Gibbs-White enjoyed the mixed international period after he initially remained from the English team of Thomas Tuchel before drawn by the injured Cole Palmer.
However, disappointing, the 25-year-old remained from the first game of England against Albania before staying on the bench for the second game against Latvia.
Nuno added: “We are proud of all our players who have embarked on an international break. Morgan has gone and he has been on the team and hopefully he will get the opportunity in the future.
“I know him so well with Morgan and he knows me. We don’t need to talk. For me, Morgan is a top, top player with so much talent and quality.
“The level of performance and the quality he gave us without the ball – I admire Morgan.
“He doesn’t have to prove to anyone that he’s wrong. This is not a state of mind he should have. He has to compete and play and give his teammates and Nottingham Forest everything he has. Things will come naturally.”
Espirito Santo faced the media shortly after the clubs agreed to hold a deadline for the summer broadcast by the end of August, not to change to close before the season began on August 16.
He added to the vote: “I think the big question remains honestly and that is that the window will continue to be open when the premier league competition begins.
“That battle is not won. What I believe is better for the competition is that the moment it starts, the window should be closed.”
