Defender of Aston Villa Tyrone Mings was appointed among the EURO 2028 Board of Directors, in charge of organizing an exhibition event.
The tournament will be organized by England, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and Mings will join the UK and Ireland 2028 Limited Committee, a company responsible for the UEFA Euro 2028 local delivery, which immediately entered into force.
The 32-year-old will take on his new role together with his playing duties in the villa, which fights for the best four endings in the Premier League and meets the PSG in the quarterfinals of the Champions League in April.

Mings, who started his senior playing career playing in Neliga because Chippenham Town and Yate Town was part of the English team that ended the winners in the EURUR 2021.
He has been a player of the villa since 2019, and together with John McGinn, he is one of only two players who remained from the team that won the promotion from the championship the same year. Mings scored 18 appearances for three lions.
Mngs will sit together with three independent unsettled director who will help organize the tournament together with the football federations of each host nation.
He will collaborate with Debbie Hewitt, Chairman of the UK & Ireland 2028 Committee, Susan Aherne Barrister Susan Aherne, who specializes in sports law, and Alan Stewart, former Chief Financial Director Tesco and Marks & Spencer.
