Thomas Tuchel leaves a positive impression on the former head of the English Hoddle

Former English chief Glenn Hoddle believes Thomas Tuchel has a tactical leg to push three lions across the line and finally win some silver accessories.

Tuchel monitored his first two games over this international break and although he did not produce a huge increase in the level of performance, England recorded direct victory over Albania and Latvia.

German has promised greater intensity and aggression of his team and Hoddle is convinced that he will come as England grows towards the World Cup final in the United States, Canada and Mexico, where he will try to request his first trophy since 1966.

Hoddle has been impressed by Tuchel so far

Asked to evaluate the first two games under Tuchel, Hoddle said 5 Live Breakfast: “You can’t be much better than that. We expect us to win and not remember when we qualify. There are all these high expectations and things in which they were very good and there are still things to work on.”

Like Hoddle, Tuchel is a former Chelsea manager and was in charge when West London Club won the 2021 Champions League.

He also trained Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Tuchel will take us to the next level – Hoddle

Hoddle added, “I like the manager, I met him several times when he was in Chelsea, I thought he had done great there and I think he will take us to a little next level that we may be winning to go over the line.

“I think he has that passion, I think he has that ability and experience.

“We have so many talented players, I think he could only pull us over the line.”

The next one for England is the qualifier of the World Cup against Andora before he was a friendly friend with Senegal.
