Fabio Wardley has revealed that Kubrat Pulev, Jarrell Miller and Michael Hunter are all on the shortlist of opponents ahead of the expected fight for the world title.
The British heavyweight category lined up the WBA title against Kubrat Puleva, but Wardley could first face WBA ranked candidate like Jarrell Miller, Michael Hunter and Jared Anderson.
Wardley is a candidate for number 1 on the WBA rankings after extending his undefeated record in October in October in the fight against 19 fights against Frazer Clarke’s first round.

“He (Pulev) got a regular title of WBA, a title Daniel Dubois had quite recently and looked at the type of path on which he was on the back,” Wardley Sky Sports said.
“He is in a mix of names with which we mix the pot. Now, although I have had my good struggles at a British level and the middle level, some people can do a little European and then jump to the world’s type, I feel like I’m ready to jump to that world level.
“I feel like Kubrat Pulev is the world champion with WBA as it is, I feel it is a test I am more than happy to have taken on.
“So Pulev is one of the men in the pot. There is Pulev, there is Miller, there is Anderson, there is Michael Hunter.

“It’s a mix I believe I’m. Now I’m a candidate for a world title. I think I believe I am. So all I believe is that it remains to prove it fighting against another candidate. I have to prove myself and have no problem in that.”
Wardley, a lifelong fan of Ipswich Town, hopes his next fight will be set at the Premier League Stadium Club, with a date to be confirmed.
“Portman Road thing is a dream,” Wardley added. “Again, with a situation like a fight at the stadium, and then when you interfere with the highest level competitors, there are a lot of things that need to be aligned.

“There are a lot of moving parts. There are a lot of things that need to be reconciled. The club can’t give you so much date on whether the terrain will be free.
“So, it’s a small window to work with. And then on that side, you have an opponent you choose? And what is their window in terms of training camp, and there are moving parts.
“But look, if it can be perfectly, fantastic. But one way or another, I believe I am a candidate for the world title and that I will oppose one of these guys.”
