Endrick hints out of Real Madrid to secure Brazil a place on the 2026 World Cup

Endrick suggested that he might consider the abandonment of Real Madrid because he aims to maintain his World Cup aspirations.

The 18-year-old striker joined the Spanish club from Palmeiras for 60 million euros last summer, but his options on the first team are limited.

Despite scoring six goals in 28 appearances in all competitions, he has yet to start the match in Laliga and in the League only 109 minutes, mostly appearing as a replacement.

Although he initially remained from the Brazilian team for an international break in March, Endrick was called late after Neymar retired due to injury.

In an interview with Romario, the teenager openly expressed anxiety for missing at the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

“To be honest, what goes through my head a lot is that I’m afraid I’m not in the 2026 World Cup,” Endrick admitted.

Chief coach Dorival Junior tried to convince the young man that his time would come.

He added, “Endrick followed carefully. I had a 2.5-hour conversation with Ancelotti. We talked about many topics, especially when Endrick experienced.

“It develops a lot. Working in Palmeiiras is very well performed. Endrick is in the new phase, mature, it’s natural.”
