At 3-0, the match was effectively out of the reach of Scotland.
Scotland struggled to create significant chances despite a few latest efforts. Kieran Tierney’s left leg at the time of stop was well saved, epochuating the frustrating night of Scotland in front of the goal.
Earlier, George Hirst missed a close range header, while Tommy Conway and Scott Mctominay saw that their attempts were blocked or comfortably saved.
In the second half, there were many replacements, making Scotland a change in an attempt to turn things over.
Discipline was also a problem for both teams, and several yellow tickets were distributed. Lewis Ferguson, George Hirst and Vangelis Pavlidis were among those reserved in a match that saw their true share of offenses and interruptions.
The Greek Solid Defense Organization ensured that Scotland never came back to the game. Visitors controlled the middle of the field and limited the hosts to speculative efforts from afar.
Despite the late attempts to save some pride, Scotland ended with disappointment because Greece saw her 3-0 victory comfortably.
