Federico Chiesa is happy in Liverpool despite the limited time of the game, his father states.
As an international break takes place, the Italian striker took the opportunity to continue his training regimen.
Chiesa recently played a key role for Liverpool, a network in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.
However, his contributions were sporadic in what was personally a challenging season for him.
Despite the speculations connecting the 27-year-old with a potential summer move from Anfield, his father, former Italian striker Enrico Chies, assured fans that Federico was pleased with his current situation.
In an interview with Tuttosport, he said: “Federico is very happy in Liverpool, he is in a top club run by the Premier League and now we hope he will be able to win the title!
“He’s here to say, he has a great opportunity.”

So far, Chiesa has been primarily in a replacement role, just started the Premier League match. Of their 11 appearances for Liverpool, only two were part of the initial lineup.
Considering his reputation one of Europe’s most promising offensive talents – especially after his success with Italy in 2020 euros – his reduced participation could be considered a source of frustration.
However, his father consistently intensified the resistant mindset, urging him to stay ready for opportunities. Referring to Federic’s journey, Enrico Chiesa added: “I told him during the summer I had spoken from the baby, because it is true until the age of 15, he was not played so often.
“When asked what he should do, I told him to continue his training, don’t give up, be sure you are ready when the moment comes.”
In the midst of a rumor about a potential summer departure, Enrico Chiesa rejected any notion of regret for Federic’s transition from Juventus to Liverpool.
“Only alibis for losers are regretted. No, no regret,” he said.
While many of his teammates Liverpool went to international duty, Chiesa was the only older player to stay at the club for not invited.
By taking advantage of the break, he returned to Italy, but remained dedicated to his training. Over the weekend, he posted an Instagram photo of himself doing in his Liverpool equipment on the background of Dolomite.
With the remaining nine Premier League games, there is still time for Chiesa to invest his claim for a significant role on Anfield.
Whether it remains outside the summer, it remains uncertain, but for now its focus remains contributing whenever it is called.
